One more!

I did another layout with the June Scrapperie kit. I even used their title, "Are we there yet?". I also used a new technique that I learned in the current 1 in 48 computer techniques class that I am taking from Hillary Heidelberg right now. The first lesson was how to draw curved text in Drawplus. I'm loving it! These are pictures of my road trip to Taos for Thanksgiving several years ago. My layout got cut off a little at the top. Darn scanner!

The week of Mollie

My good friend Mollie is having a really important birthday this week. I won't say which one though. She might not like it. :-)

Anyway, she and her boyfriend had me over for dinner Sunday night and to watch the Sopranos finale. I was not a Sopranos watcher, so it didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. But I enjoyed it! You don't see a guy's face getting smashed by a tire just any old day.

Tuesday night we went to Birra Porretti's for dinner and then to see Norah Jones. I'm a fan of the restaurant, but I'm not that familiar with Norah Jones. So another night with new, unfamiliar-ness to enjoy. :-)

So I've found two new things to enjoy, Sopranos DVDs and Norah Jones. I've also had enough Italian food this week to feed a small nation.

Mollie's birthday isn't really until tomorrow, so let's keep the party going!!

Another book...

I just finished another book. Murder Unleashed by Elaine Viets. If you haven't checked out her Dead End Job mysteries you are missing out! It's a really cute series.

For everyone who knew that my dad was in the hospital.... he's back home now! Yippee!! I'm taking dinner over there later tonight. My mom asked me what I was going to make. Um. Right. LOL! I'd have to cook first.

I've been getting a little scrapping done lately, so I'll have pics to post soon.
